U Vijjay Metha is the Founder and Managing Partner of V Legal Empire and is based in Chennai. He handles complex, high-stakes litigation, white-collar defence, and strategic commercial advisory matters for clients across major Indian jurisdictions.
Over his 15-year career as a practising advocate, he has represented multinational corporations, public sector undertakings, and private stakeholders in their most challenging constitutional and infrastructure matters. He has been recognised across professional networks for his strategic execution, maintaining a continuous record of excellent regulatory compliance with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry since his enrolment in 2011.
Prior to founding V Legal Empire, Vijjay completed his Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of London (Queen Mary), specialising in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution, and earned advanced international mediation credentials from the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre (ACDC) in Sydney.
